8Sigma Energy Services provides technology‐based solutions to the multi-stage hydraulic fracturing space. We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative to join the team in Calgary, AB.
Primary Role Focus
The Technical Sales Representative is accountable for marketing new products and services available, providing or coordinating training seminars, and offering technical support to the assigned customers in their region.

The Technical Sales Representative is accountable for marketing new products and services available, providing or coordinating training seminars, and offering technical support to the assigned customers in their region.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Cultivate key business relationships within their assigned region to call on assigned and prospective customers and solicit orders
- Maintains good rapport and informs customers of value added products and services
- Meet with customers to discuss topics of concern, service issues, and products jointly with company Field Sales Representatives, Account Managers, or individually
- Act as a liaison to resolve concerns with customers and maintain a desired level of service
- Investigates current and forecasted requirements and introduces products and services available
- Ensure that assigned objectives and training are achieved by performing product presentations to external and internal customers
- Conduct follow-up interviews to ensure customer satisfaction
- Compare pricing and market conditions to determine reasons for receiving or losing a quote
- Complete all related account and sales reporting documents in a timely manner and actively updates and maintains CRM
- Ability to run programs applicable to downhole tools, packers, and liners (in house training).
- Complete technical RFP documents
- Minimum of five years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Recent experience of selling into the WCSB Completions market is required
- Field operations experience is an absolute must
- A Bachelor of Science in engineering or related science discipline preferred

- Subject to pre‐employment, post incident, random and reasonable cause drug and alcohol testing
- Significant use of computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse
- Sit at a desk for extended periods
- Approximately 20% domestic travel along with some international travel
